Bavarian chocolate recipe by of 01-08-2011 [Updated on 18-07-2017]

Bavarian chocolate is a spoon dessert with a very delicate flavor and a consistency similar to that of a pudding. Very easy to prepare, it is a dessert that can be prepared in a single large mold and then cut into slices or small portions. Last year I had prepared a fruit version, the strawberry bavarese, and I liked it a lot, this year I wanted to replicate by preparing the version of the chocolate bavarese, certainly more enjoyable hihiih, really an excellent dessert with spoon! For the first day of August, the Bavarian chocolate cake seems ideal to say good morning to you, don't you think?

How to make chocolate Bavarian cream

First, soften the isinglass in a saucer with cold water
In a saucepan, simmer the milk with the vanilla pod for about 5 minutes
Meanwhile, in a fairly large saucepan, beat the egg yolks with the sugar.

Now pour the milk over the egg yolks and mix everything together.

Put the saucepan on the stove and cook the custard over low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon.

Once the cream has thickened slightly, turn off the heat and add the well squeezed isinglass.

Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved then add the chopped dark chocolate.

Mix the futto well until you get a smooth cream and let it cool.

When the cream has cooled completely, add the whipped cream.

Mix with a wooden spoon with a movement that goes from the bottom to the top until a smooth and homogeneous cream is obtained.

Line a loaf pan with cling film, then pour the Bavarian mixture into it

Put in the freezer for at least 2 hours.

Then take back the chocolate Bavarian cream, and turn it upside down on a serving dish, remove the foil and garnish it as you prefer.I covered the Bavarian cream with a white chocolate topping and milk chocolate curls

Slice the chocolate Bavarian cream and serve
