  • 80ml of water
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • juice from half a lemon
  • a handful of raisins
  • 30ml of rum (if you don't have one, you can use a few drops of essence)
  • 1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for greasing pies)
  • 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar (to sprinkle at the end)

Form 6 dough donuts that are spread individually on the table lined with flour.
